Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowo-Usługowe Katarzyna Grzeszczak, is implementing a project entitled “Development of tourist infrastructure in the village of Sienno in the municipality of Ostrowite, utilising the endogenous potential of the area, through the creation of a new branch of EKO OSADA, serving to develop the economic potential of the region”
The project is co-financed by the European Union from European Funds.
Project value: PLN 6,479,098.80, including a contribution from European Funds of PLN 2,355,777.00.

Project outcomes, results and products

Projects outcomes creation of a new branch of the company, generating conditions for innovative development of the enterprise and provision of new types of services and organisational structure, enabling the development of the local economy and independence from the declining fuel and energy industry;

Project activities

Construction and furnishing of a new branch consisting of seven eco-friendly buildings, including one building designated as an "ECO LABORATORY/common room", where workshops on nutrition -food products, ecological products, especially regional ones, and the possibilities of using them in the kitchen, and 6 buildings for providing hotel services, including infrastructure: outdoor sauna, swimming pool, fencing. The new branch will be adapted for people with disabilities.

Project objectives

THE AIM OF THE PROJECT is the sustainable development of tourism in the period from 1 April 2024 to 31 December 2025 through the creation of a new branch – EKO OSADA – in the village of Sienno in the Słupca district, utilising the endogenous potential of the area, serving the innovative development of the company and the economic potential of the Eastern Greater Poland region.
